Guest Post Policies:

  1. Guest post material is from another blogger, not promotional or commercial material (please see my media kit for promotional or sponsored posts).

  2. Your article should emphasize sustainability with at least one of the following being addressed.

    • Minimize carbon footprint.

    • Build respect and awareness for cultural and/or environmental concerns

    • Demonstrate how the product or service provides direct financial benefits for conservation.

    • Demonstrate how the service or product provides financial benefits and empowerment for local, underserved, underprivileged people.

  3. You will get full credit of your work with the TG reach. You are the copyright owner of the content, but give us publication rights.

  4. Send the post, photos, and a brief introduction of yourself, including link to your website, in an email to trekkinggreen1 (at) gmail.com  Use your best writing and photos to have spectacular results.

  5. Material must be new. I.E.- no previously published content. Additionally, the content can not be used on any other website in the future. We don’t want an article to compete with itself, plus Google hates it. The post minimum requirement is 350 words long.

  6. All posts must include at least one photo. If you include multiple images, please indicate which photo you would like to be the featured image. Photos are welcome to be captioned. (Watermarked photos are acceptable, so long as they are legally yours.) Keep images to a small file size so they load quickly and must be in a .png format.

  7. The content will go out as a regular blog post. This includes one post on Trekking Green’s Facebook, G+, and Twitter accounts as well as to our email subscribers. You are responsible for the promotion of your content for any additional coverage.

  8. Answer comments – Readers may want to clarify issues and discuss their ideas in the comments.

All submissions will be reviewed for purpose and value to Trekking Green. You will be notified if your submission is accepted. If accepted, you will also receive a “live date” of when the post will be scheduled to appear.
